Andy Rachlin
Director, Development & Acquisitions
At Shelton McNally, Andy is responsible for deal level underwriting and execution from initial contract through stabilization and exit on his portfolio of properties. Andy also works to evaluate acquisition opportunities for the company.
Prior to Shelton McNally, Andy received his M.B.A. from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School with concentrations in real estate and finance. During his two years at Emory, he completed internships with Morgan Group and Tioga Capital.
Before moving to Atlanta to pursue his M.B.A., Andy lived in Houston and was an Associate at Cadence Bank on the Midstream Energy, Chemicals, and Specialty Services team. During his two years at Cadence, he assisted in managing a $500 million portfolio of approximately 25 separate loans across the United States.
Andy began his career with Teach For America in Houston. Over the course of four years, he taught Algebra II and AP Environmental Science while also coaching the high school boys’ basketball and soccer teams.
Andy received a B.A. in History from the University of Texas at Austin. He currently lives in Brookhaven with his wife and two children.
