ANDY RACHLIN
Development Manager
Andy has six years of professional experience in the commercial banking industry and in the education system in Houston.
Most recently, Andy received his M.B.A. from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School with concentrations in real estate and finance. During his two years at Emory, he completed internships with Morgan Group and Tioga Capital where he focused on modeling, market analysis, and contributing to the production of investment memorandums.
Prior to Emory, Andy lived in Houston and was an Associate at Cadence Bank on the Midstream Energy, Chemicals, and Specialty Services team. During his two years at Cadence, he assisted in managing a $500 million portfolio of approximately 25 separate loans across the United States. He was primarily responsible for the underwriting process and compliance documentation for both new and existing loans.
Andy began his career with Teach For America in Houston at YES Prep North Central. Over the course of four years at YES Prep, he taught Algebra II and AP Environmental Science while also coaching the high school boys’ basketball and soccer teams.
Andy received a B.A. in History from the University of Texas at Austin. He currently lives in Morningside with his wife, Emily.
