Chelsea has 6 years of experience in public accounting where she focused on tax compliance and consulting for the real estate and hospitality industry. She worked as the supervisor and client manager on developers of commercial, office, hotel, retail, mixed-used properties, and multifamily housing spanning across the United States.

She has extensive knowledge of tax basis accounting and tax complexities surrounding the development, operations, and disposition of real estate projects. She was responsible for conducting certified CPE training which consisted of the best methods to minimize the tax liability by means of depreciation and section 1231 gains on the sale of real property. In addition, Chelsea is also well versed in other tax incentives such as deferring taxable gains under section 1031 like-kind exchanges, tangible property regulations, and clients’ organizational structures. She also spearheaded research and implementation of many of the real estate related code sections of the Tax Cuts & Jobs Act.

She graduated with a bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Georgia’s J.M. Tull School of Accounting. She currently resides in Peachtree Corners.
