Susan also manages corporate accounting, financial reporting and supports project level accounting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\">Susan has 12 years of real estate development accounting experience.\u00a0 Prior to joining Shelton McNally, she worked for <em>Chance Partners<\/em>, a fully integrated real estate firm specializing in the development and management of high-quality residential and mixed-use communities.\u00a0 After the company was established in 2009, she was their first accounting hire and was responsible for accounting implementation and process development. \u00a0In the more recent years, she served them on a part-time basis providing accounting oversight.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\">Prior to Chance Partners, she was a Fund Controller at <em>Jamestown Properties<\/em>, a design-focused real estate investment and management company.\u00a0 Prior to Jamestown, she was an Assistant Development Controller at <em>Novare Group<\/em>, a development company focused on high-density mixed-use opportunities around the Southeast.\u00a0 Susan began her accounting career in public accounting, working at <em>Deloitte<\/em> in their Audit &amp; Enterprise Risk Services group.\u00a0 At Deloitte she specialized in the Utilities industry working extensively for Southern Company.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s3\">Susan is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Georgia and a graduate of the <em>University of Florida\u2019s Fisher School of Accounting<\/em> with a Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
